One of the most disappointing aspects of Call Of Duty Mobile is that a launch day update made it impossible to play with a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One controller on iPhone and Android. This is still an issue today despite the support likely to be re-introduced at a later date, but for now the only workaround to use the controllers is playing the game on PC.
Call Of Duty Mobile has received over 35 million downloads so far, but it has also received numerous complaints about its employment of bots and lack of zombies at launch. Playing on PC doesn't resolve these drawbacks, but it is the best way to play Tencent Games' and Activision's title.
Why you'd want to play with a PS4 or Xbox One controller instead of a keyboard and mouse is unfathomable, but we're simply here to tell you how rather than to judge.

To play Call Of Duty Mobile on PC, all you need to do is download and install GameLoop. And yes, this is 100% legal as it's Tencent Games' official mobile-to-pc emulator.
Once you've done that, you will then need to download Call Of Duty Mobile for the price of nada provided you continue to ignore its microtransactions.
Although the game is nowhere near on par with Modern Warfare (2019) or many other previous Call Of Duty instalments in the visuals department thanks to having been developed for mobile phones, playing on PC is still by far the best way to experience Call Of Duty Mobile.

To play Call Of Duty Mobile on PC with a PS4 or Xbox One controller, you will first need to plug in your DualShock and then open GameLoop. Once you've done this, you then need to select the keyboard icon on the right of the screen and click gamepad.
The unfortunate issue of playing Call Of Duty Mobile with a PS4 or Xbox One controller on PC is that you must fiddle about by mapping controller buttons to the corresponding control areas on the screen.
