Magic Keyboard Windows

  • Windows 10 seems to read the Magic Keyboard as a separate device, complete with a screen, so it will present a code in the window and the text 'Compare the passcodes,' under the assumption that it.
  • Apple Magic keyboard in Windows 10 I am running Windows 10 on Mac Pro (2019) with a magic keyboard. In Windows I consistently get @ when I type ', and ' when I type @.

This sounds exactly like my issue. It was working just fine in Bootcamp before I updated to Fall Creator's Update. If I restarted it would work as long as I kept using the devices. If I left the bluetooth devices idle though they would stop working even though Windows said they were still connected. I also tried reinstalling the Bootcamp drivers after the Fall Creators Update and yet the problem persisted.

You then go into Windows 10 keyboard settings and add United Kingdom (Magic Utilities) as the default input method and voila ALL the keys work like they do on a mac! The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the brightness/volume buttons up the top (but I think bootcamp drivers can fix that if you must). Windows 10 seems to study the Magic Keyboard as a separate device, entire with a display, so it'll gift a code in the window and the textual content 'Evaluate the passcodes,' Beneath the idea that it desires you to Compare displayed textual content on every other display.

Disabling the Bluetooth power management resolved the issue for me.
